Privacy
Aura Booth is run by Chris Conway ("we"). You can contact us at chris@aura-booth.store. This page explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
This website
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't identify or follow you: it tells us only totals such as how many people visited, which pages they viewed, their country and type of device, and which website sent them here. When you open the booking calendar, it's provided by Cal.com, which may set the cookies it needs to work.
Booking and paying
- Cal.com takes your booking: your name, email, phone number (if given), the time you chose and your answers (such as confirming you're 18 or over). Cal.com is a US company that processes this for us.
- Stripe takes your payment. We never see your card details. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.
- When you book, our website receives your name, email and session time, creates your personal session link and emails it to you through our email provider, Zoho Mail (UK). We use this only to run your session and keep simple records of bookings.
During your Live Aura Photo Session
Your pulse, breathing and expression are read on your own device. Your heart rate counts as health information, so we only use it with your explicit agreement, only to create your aura during the session, and we don't save it. The video call is live and not recorded. The full details are in the session privacy notice, which you'll see before your camera starts.
Your aura report and offers
If you ask for your aura report by email, we use your address to send it and then delete it from our system. If you tick the box to hear about offers, we keep your name, email and the date you agreed until you unsubscribe. We never share or sell it. Reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any email to stop.
At fairs
Your aura photo and video are kept on our booth laptop for up to 12 hours so you can download them, then deleted. Emailed reports and offers work as above.
Why we're allowed to
To provide the session you booked and paid for (contract), and with your consent for anything health-related and for offers. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object. Email us. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
